Sharer of JoyHow can we be happier?
Why is the pursuit of happiness so stressful and unfulfilling? Why do we believe that huge achievements trump small everyday moments that connect us with ourselves and those we love most? After years of “dreaming in American” and chasing The Big Happy, Russian-born entrepreneur Nataly Kogan dug into the research and believes the key to being happier is to stop saying “I’ll be happy when…” and start saying “I’m happy now because…”
Nataly Kogan is the Co-Founder and CEO of Happier, based in Boston. Inspired by research on happiness, the company’s mission is to inspire millions of people to do more of what makes them happier. Nataly has held top positions at WHERE (sold to PayPal), Microsoft’s Future of Social Experiences Lab (FUSE), McKinsey & Co., and Hudson Ventures, a venture capital firm in New York, and founded the online community for working mothers and a publishing company for students. Nataly and her parents immigrated to the U.S. from the former Soviet Union when she was thirteen and she graduated with University Honors from Wesleyan University. Nataly lives outside Boston with her husband and young daughter but is forever a New Yorker at heart.
