TEDxBoston FAQ

How much does it cost to attend?

TEDxBoston is generously underwritten by our sponsors so attendance is free.

How do I get a ticket?

Invitations will be emailed in August 2017, please add @tedxboston.org, @eventbrite.com and @fmr.com to your accepted senders list.

What if I don’t get an invitation?

We provide a free livestream of the entire event on our website. We also post videos of every talk and performance online shortly after the event.

Can I bring a guest to the event?

Due to capacity we can only give one ticket per invitation.

I want to bring a group from my business/school, how do I do that?

If you’re part of a group, we highly suggest that you organize a meetup to watch the livestream together. Watching in a group is a great way to get the most out of the talks!

I am interested in organizing a meetup to show the livestream, what do I need?

All you need is a computer hooked up to the internet and a group of interested people! We will provide the feed for the livestream on our website the day of the event. If you would like information about TED, TEDx, or TEDxBoston to provide to the attendees let us know through the Contact Us page. If you organize a meetup we would love it if you could send us photos and feedback at [email protected]

How do I nominate a speaker?

Simply fill out the Nominate a Speaker form

When is the deadline for speaker nominations?

We never stop accepting nominations! If it is too late to take your nomination into consideration for the upcoming event, we will keep it on file for a future event.

I would like to volunteer at the event, how do I do that?

We are not seeking volunteers at this time. If/when we do need volunteers we will let you know on our website.

I want to work for TEDxBoston, how do I apply?

TEDxBoston does not hire employees. We are run by a team of volunteers from several organizations in Boston. We are not currently seeking out new team members, but if we ever are we will let you know through our website.
