TEDxBoston 2012Medicine from Milk Innovation at the intersection of pharmacology and farming where transgenic goats produce vital proteins for drug development
Curator's Pick: "We have a bioreactor that lives on hay."
Human proteins are vital ingredients in drug development but the cost to produce them in a factory is exorbitant. Harry Meade found an innovative solution at the intersection of farming and pharmacology where transgenic goats produce proteins in their milk at a fraction of the cost.
