Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council
The organization is dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship and promoting the success of companies that develop and deploy technology across industry sectors. The Mass Technology Leadership Council accomplishes its mission by conducting educational programs and hosting signature events, facilitating networking between industry executives and potential partners, investors, and customers, sponsoring research on the industry, engaging in activities to enhance the quality and quantity of the next generation of technology professionals, advocating in favor of technology policies that promote innovation and entrepreneurship, and recognizing industry-leading companies and people.

Massachusetts High Technology Council
Massachusetts is one of the most competitive locations for technology employers and employees thanks to the Mass. High Technology Council, a nonprofit, nonpartisan lobbying organization that represents the Commonwealth's—and the world’s—leading technology employers. Founded in 1977, the Council is comprised of CEO-level executives, making it nimble, results-oriented and unbowed by political risk as it works to support policies and initiatives that benefit all sectors of the state’s diverse technology economy. Council members employ hundreds of thousands of skilled workers in all of Massachusetts’ key technology sectors, including communications, clean energy technology, computer hardware, defense technology, higher education, life sciences, semiconductor, and software.

Massachusetts Technology Collaborative
The Massachusetts Technology Collaborative is the state’s development agency for renewable energy and the innovation economy, which is responsible for one-quarter of all jobs in the state. MTC administers the John Adams Innovation Institute and the Renewable Energy Trust. We work to stimulate economic activity in communities throughout the Commonwealth. As our name suggests, we use a collaborative approach to achieving the organization’s mission. We bring together leaders from industry, academia, and government to advance technology-based solutions that lead to economic growth and a cleaner environment in Massachusetts.

Xconomy Boston: Business + Technology in the Exponential Economy
Xconomy is dedicated to providing business and technology leaders with timely, insightful, close-to-the-scene information about the local personalities, companies, and technological trends that best exemplify today’s high-tech economy. Our goal is to become the authoritative voice on the exponential economy, the realm of business and innovation characterized by exponential technological growth and responsible for an increasing share of productivity and overall economic growth. We plan to deliver this valuable content through a unique global network of localized blogs, events, conferences, and other initiatives designed to better connect people and ideas.

Digma: Design Industry Group of Massachusetts
The Design Industry Group of Massachusetts (DIGMA) is an initiative of the statewide design industries to organize and promote the Massachusetts design cluster as integral to the state's economy. DIGMA enables diverse design industries including advertising, architecture, graphic design, industrial design, interior design, landscape design, and specialized design services such as fashion, textiles and lighting design – to speak with one powerful and influential voice.

IDEAS Boston
IDEAS Boston’s mission is to promote innovation and contribute to the economic vitality and competitiveness of the region. Through a unique conference, dissemination of new ideas after the event, and connecting cutting-edge thinkers across sectors, IDEAS Boston serves as an important resource to individual innovators throughout the community, and from a civic perspective helps to build the region’s brand as a hub of innovation attractive to businesses, college students, and workers.

ONEin3 Boston
ONEin3 Boston serves the one-third of Boston's population that is between the ages of 20 and 34. The program connects Boston's young adults with resources related to home buying, business development, professional networking, and civic engagement.

Center for Women & Enterprise
Established in 1995, the Center for Women & Enterprise (CWE) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping women start and grow their own businesses. CWE is a national leader among women's business development agencies. CWE's mission is to empower women to become economically self-sufficient and prosperous through entrepreneurship. CWE has served over 15,000 entrepreneurs. CWE offers education, training, technical assistance, women's business enterprise certification and access to both debt and equity capital to entrepreneurs at every stage of business development. Their clients are drawn from a wide variety of racial, ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds, spanning the range from women living in public housing who may want to start home-based or small retail businesses to women running fast growth, multi-million dollar technology businesses.

MassChallenge
Our goal is to create a renaissance of startup activity across all the regions of Massachusetts via a Venture Funds Competition. A Venture Funds Competition combines the collaborative, educational and catalytic impact of a business plan competition with the business and job creation of a seed fund. MassChallenge is driven by the following principles:

  • Catalyze innovation, collaboration and commercialization in Massachusetts
  • Address the seed-stage investment gap, empowering young entrepreneurs in Massachusetts
  • Provide an immersive education for first-time entrepreneurs
  • Showcase Massachusetts' assets and infrastructure locally and nationally

The Indus Entrepreneur: Boston Chapter
The world's largest not for profit organization for promoting entrepreneurship.

TiE was founded in 1992 in Silicon Valley by a group of successful entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and senior professionals with roots in the Indus region. There are currently more than 11,000 members and over 2,500 charter members in 53 chapters across 12 countries. TiE’s mission is to foster entrepreneurship globally through mentoring, networking, and education. Dedicated to the virtuous cycle of wealth creation and giving back to the community, TiE’s focus is on generating and nurturing our next generation of entrepreneurs.

Besides its flagship event, TiECon - the largest professional conference for entrepreneurs, TiE now has a wide range of programs including Special Interest Groups (SIGs), TiE Institute, Deal Flow Meetings, TiE Young Entrepreneurs, and, most recently, TiE Women’s Forum and CEO Forum.

UMASS Boston Venture Development Center

On the Red Line in the heart of Boston, the Venture Development Center (VDC) is a managed incubator designed to meet the needs of business, university, and student entrepreneurs with early stage and emerging ventures. The VDC offers best-in-class business mentoring, interns, connections and state-of-the-art facilities. Our stunning 18,000 square-feet plug-and-play office, lab and meeting workspace scales with the venture's growth. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx.

TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxBoston, where x=independently organized TED event. At TEDxBoston, TEDTalks videos and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in our community.

The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
